Nicolae's first book,
Taste of Romania, Its Cookery and Glimpses of its History, Folklore,
Art, Literature and Poetry (Hippocrene Books, 1997, 1999, 2002, 2008)
was the result of his lifelong interest in cookery and his desire to make
his native country better known to the world. Romania: An Illustrated
History (Hippocrene, 2002, 2005, 2007) is his second book. Both books
have been best-sellers.
The Geneva Affair, a romantic suspense, is Nicolae's first novel. It can also qualify as international intrigue or psychological thriller. Its manuscript is complete, and has been professionally edited.
Nicolae is now actively looking for a publisher or literary agent, passionate enough
about this novel to take a risk on it.
As a Romanian-born
American author, culinary aficionado, and former sales and marketing executive
with General Electric (USA), Nicolae (Nick) Klepper worked and lived many
years in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
Nicolae resides with
his Scottish wife, Ann, in Edinburgh, Scotland. He has three sons, one
daughter, and four grandchildren, living in different parts of the world.
